Jones County - Region 10
Founded in 1779, Jones County has 9,172 residents, making it the fourth-least populous county in North Carolina. Trenton serves as the county seat. Jones County has been a leading provider of lumber and is well known among outdoorsmen. Jones County contains the largest forest laboratory in the nation, Hofmann Forest. Just miles north of the Hofmann Forest is the Jones County Health Department.

Gae is a graduate of East Carolina University with a bachelor's degree in Public Health and a concentration in Community Health. Gae started with Jones County Health Department in March 2024 and this will be her first year as a Lifestyle Coach for ENC Prevention Diabetes. She is looking forward to learning all aspects of a Lifestyle Coach and taking that knowledge to guide the participants to become a healthier them.
