Pitt County - Region 10
Founded in 1760, Pitt County is home to about 170,250 people and eleven cities, the largest of which is Greenville. While there are several college education opportunities and well-known local restaurants, Pitt County is also recognized for its many nature sites where outdoor adventures await. The Greenville Greenway is a 9-mile trail, used for walking, running, or biking, with multiple entrance points that flows alongside the Tar River. Just north of the Tar River, you will find the Pitt County Health Department right in the heart of the county, making it a central and easily accessible location for those that reside in Pitt County.
